ME 270
Final Project
Redesign of an Intel 4th generation stock CPU cooler, improving recycling capability while enhancing performance and quality through design for reusability.
Peter Gutfeldt

Background
Most consumer grade Intel PC processors come with a simple cooler, commonly referred to as the "stock Intel cooler". However, this cooler simply does not fit the needs of a large portion of PC enthusiasts who replace it with an aftermarket cooler, leading to the stock cooler being discarded entirely. I personally own 2 of these coolers with no use for them.

In this project, I aim to increase the usability and re-usability of the Intel stock cooler, reducing the components that immediately go to waste.
