Improved CAD

After deciding to replace the custom fan assembly with a standardized PC case fan, I modified the CAD to allow for the addition as shown below.

The mounting method I decided to use is common in many aftermarket air coolers.  A bent rigid metal wire in a U-shape is looped into the heatsink base and hooks bent into the U tips hold the fan in place.
